FAQ

Do I have to keep my browser open?+

No. Mining happens on-chain. Your rewards build up every second whether you are online or not; you just come back and claim.

Is there a minimum claim or a lock-up?+

No. Claim any time, any amount. Waiting longer doesn't earn more, so claim whenever it suits you.

Why did my daily estimate drop?+

Your share depends on the network's total hashrate. When others add miners, everyone's slice gets smaller. The emission also halves every 97 days.

What happens if the vault runs low?+

A claim pays what the vault holds and the rest stays pending in your facility, to be paid when the vault refills from purchases and electricity.

Can I sell or move my facility?+

No. A facility belongs to the wallet that opened it. Each wallet can have one.

Can I get my $MINER back for a miner?+

No. 50% of the price is burned and the rest funds rewards. Removing a miner frees its slot but refunds nothing.

Where does the SOL from rig sales go?+

To the protocol treasury, which uses it to buy back $MINER from the market on a regular schedule. Part of every buyback is burned and the rest tops up the reward vault.

How much $MINER gets burned?+

50% of every miner and upgrade payment is burned on-chain the moment you pay, plus a share of every SOL buyback. Both show up as public burn transactions.

Is this financial advice?+

No. Sol Miner is a game. Rewards depend on how many people play and $MINER's market price can go to zero.
